The good:
All right now, commited with graphics, modifications, etc.

The bad:
kicad hangs while refilling zones, because of the added graphics. The graphics consist in hundreds, if not thousands of pins creating the image. I don't care about that in my box as long as the MFG's DRC can bare with it. It shouldn't be a problem, gerbers aren't that big in size.

The ugly:
I can't take a good pic of the board. I should try with gerbv maybe

Oh, a Puma website is on the way :-)

I would have to claim I'm still very git ignorant. I don't know how to do the IRC thing. I also haven't made a git push for some time. When he's sleeping (I think he's sleeping), I've been sending him files that he then verifies and so far has used. Then he pushing them up to git. We're grinding through it, and we'll get it done.

The graphics are looking good, and I've run out of "real" recommendations a while ago. Here's my latest tweaks.

P71 net names on the back as well as the front. Same for the BDM?
Page settings still shows rev at A.20_P.01, probably should change to Spin1

Attached is a PDF copy of the KICAD schematic and PCB layout. This can be used by folks that don't have KICAD installed, or who aren't intimately familiar with it's GUI. This is not an exact copy of what's going to be purchases, but it might allow others a chance to chime in about design comments. So review it quickly, it's currently the 26th, and is planned to be purchased on the 27th last I recall.

It regens in a couple seconds perhaps 5 seconds on my machine which is some 6 years old at this point. No hanging here, so I would wager a guess it won't hang the MFG. I can make the pretty pictures, but I have the default color scheme, so they won't be as pretty as what's up there. For those doing design review, the PDF should work well.

Good to know it works on your box.

Touching bdm labels... changed to spin 1 in page settings.

For now i'm not adding those PDFs to the repo. The website seems to be a better option

Aaand yes, I asked fred for git config examples but I still don't get it. I didn't try too hard neither, but its a nice touch. When I get it figured out I'm posting it here.

Don't check them in, they are output files, not source files :-) See if you can get Jared to share his script, though ;-)

The PDF's were easy this time around, no script this time. I simply click print --> PDFCreator. I have Adobe Acrobat 6, but that didn't work well. I think that PDF creator worked better because it does the .ps to pdf process in a slightly different manner. With PDFCreator, I got just what I saw on the preview.

I'm not sure if PDFCreator works for linux, I think it's only a windows program, but it does the same thing as ps2pdf and pdfmerge which I used in the past as a script for PDF generation.

On the todo list for completion after the boards are ordered, we should probably include these items.

-- Update BOM --> schematic such that it produces a .lst file.
-- make PDF's of the schematic and PCB
-- make wiki page detailing the results

Wow DRC is going slow now. I would guess that's caused by the eyes.

ha! I had to remove the logo. I guess it can stand the eyes but not the logo, at least on my machine.

100% agreed

Fred is setting up puma.freeems.org, I'm going to put everything there (images, doc, docs, features, links to freeems, forum, etc)
