Yup I use eagle, I am too used to it now to change to something better.
The source code has not been posted yet, I will post it once I get the pcbs back and test everything. The Source is written in AVR GCC for the attiny841. I am trying to get the display to fit into a 52mm gauge.
Lambda display for digital wideband controllers
Re: Lambda display for digital wideband controllers
I haven't heard much about this project lately, any updates?
I'm starting to look at O2 circuits. Is this a circuit I can use as a reference design for FreeEMS.

Re: Lambda display for digital wideband controllers
One box per function, I say, and have always said.
IE, let the ecu run the engine, let a wideband box read the wideband, let a trans controller shift the slush box, etc.
Merging stuff in is just a bad idea.
Fred.

Re: Lambda display for digital wideband controllers
I know you don't like tuning via O2, but on the other hand, O2 compensation is main stream, so I think it should be supported. If nothing else, I'd like to learn more about it.
Re: Lambda display for digital wideband controllers
Eh? I'm not sure we are understanding each other. It seemed to me that you wanted to design a box to read a sensor? If not, you just read that box with an ADC directly, no circuit required or desired.jharvey wrote:I know you don't like tuning via O2, but on the other hand, O2 compensation is main stream, so I think it should be supported. I'm not anti tuning by O2, it is essential IMO, but definitely optional in reality. It shall not be a required input to the system at any time because there actually isn't a real reason to require it. There is a now-locked thread on this somewhere some time ago when we discussed what the minimum input requirements are.
As for O2 compensation or exhaust gas feedback, yes it's main stream, yes it's useful, but no it's not high priority and no I won't be implementing that until virtually everything else is done. This I have said time and again.
