Thanks!

Picked up a used TD05HR 16G from an Evo off eBay. Looks to be in good shape.

Finding space for the intercooler is going to be a challenge. I think I can fit it vertically between the winch and hood level at the front, but it'll likely push out or eliminate the front grill. Part of me has been considering fabbing a long tube header and mounting the turbo and intercooler under the truck bed with a modest air chute and electric fans, but I'm more likely to go with the traditional front placement. ;)

Losing the grill will look pretty awful. I don't want to lose the winch though as it was just replaced under warranty with a slightly improved model. And below the winch won't work since there's a small skid plate and support bar as part of the bumper design. Will figure something out.

Give us some photos to work with? Don't remote mount this stuff...

Consider moving things around a bit to facilitate better placement. For my truck I plan to move the radiator back against the engine and put both it and intercooler IN the engine bay with appropriate air control panels. I have space, you may not.

Also consider removing front tin to make it fit while retaining the grill etc.

EDIT: You edited that older post with new photos which I didn't see! :-o Ricer theme complete! Now you just need NOS.

EDIT2/revenge:

Looks like HEAPS of room in there! :-)

This actually is one seriously considered avenue. I didn't mention it mostly because of a disappointing once-over last night, but there is a little room for the radiator to recess, especially if the stock fan is replaced with, perhaps, a thinner two-fan combo. Given the age and some warpage of the radiator following a wreck, it might be worth yanking it and building up the entire area. Kudos for encouraging it.

LOL. To live so posh! The cheap plastic grill is the only layer between radiator and rock.

Thanks. For the record, there's a a plastic NOS beverage bottle in the cup holder with a suction cup affixed to it.

I just made some new mounts for my radiator to create some room for the IC :) Perhaps you can figure something out going that route. I think that is a safe bet to say that you have more space there than I have in my mini Euro car(t)

Glad to see that others are relocating their radiators and that it's wasn't just some oddball whim I had in a depressed moment. I'll look it over in daylight and see what can be done.

Bad pic but I hope it is clear:
1 bar between the bumper support to hold the IC
1 bar behind it (with the indent in the middle) to support the rad 10cm higher to leave some room underneath for the IC piping :)

I meant the steel either side of/above/below the radiator ;-) IE, cutting it away to make room for plumbing if required. That was the only mod I had to do to the front panel in my truck to fit my GTR intercooler up.
