Re: Guepard board
How is pointing him to an article on the topic being 'a dick on purpose'? It can easily be improved with a copper pour on the top layer as well.
Re: Guepard board
OK, let me try to be more clear: Please point at something, anything, very specific, in his layout, that is wrong, and can be improved. The "copper pour" comment is along the right lines, but uses "as well" implying there is something else, which the article doesn't mention, because the author of the article has not seen this particular half-finished design ;-) I was wondering whether you simply failed to see what was missing or were being a smart arse. Clearly the former.

Re: Guepard board
By "as well", I was referring to "as well as the bottom layer". Going only by the small screenshot it looks like there hasn't been any consideration of return current paths. Eg. the ground path of the lower SMD IC inside the ignition block has a couple of paths out which all lead to pinch points.Fred wrote:OK, let me try to be more clear: Please point at something, anything, very specific, in his layout, that is wrong, and can be improved.
