It is now 6am and I've just finished working with Preston on this:

I hope that's the last that I see of it. Never again.

Advisory to all users:

I just pushed a fairly large commit that I've tested thoroughly for Sim's setup, but no one else's. I believe it to be good, but review your config and compare with before before you run it. Report any issues using the usual channels.

I thought I'd do something fun today, so here is an OLV/Saleae screenshot of the first rev limiter :-)

Image

6k sweep, 5k cut, 1k hysteresis. Blue is RPM, red high is cut activated. Green lines in saleae are centre and finish from left to right. Channel 2 and 3 of the saleae are Sim's cyl 1/2 ignition outputs, the other two are under the other window.

If some die hard fan reading this, who hasn't contributed code or cash or anything else in the past, wants to send a very hard-working and in-need FreeEMSer one or two hundred bucks towards hardware supplies for testing, get in touch with me and I'll give you the details. No, it's not me, though I can always put more to good use on equipment and supplies and just food, the wife isn't particularly well paid... This person deserves a pat on the back and I guarantee they'll sink it all straight back into components and parts and other shit to make everyone better off. Get in touch using the usual email, or PM, or IRC PM, or whatever else you prefer.

Thanks!
