FredStim :-)

Post by Fred »

I no longer have faith in JimStim to get the job done, so I'm engineering some simple hardware to interface two FreeEMS' together, one as a signal generator and the other as a FreeEMS.

I will post more pics and vids once it's done and working.

Finished! Well, enough to use, will try it out after dinner. New years dinner is a big deal in Spain, apparently! :-) I'm back on the testing team, hooray! :-) Pics soon.

Works, but I need to check a few things such as signal polarity and 0:0,1:1 vs 0:1,1:0, but it will work. I tested the lacerated pempheridae against it and triangle form works fine. I didn't get sync from the 12-1 code, but there are a few reasons that could happen. I did verify the signals were getting to the pins inside the puma, though. And I did take a datalog from the puma which showed various sync errors. Hmmm, another thing is that lacerated pempheridae may have been ramping too quickly for sync. I'll slow it down and see what happens. 3am now, though, time to wander "home" to the wife's uncles flat and get some sleep. Pics later or tomorrow depending upon how I feel!

Adios from 2012!
