Enter the wayback machine- This is the second FE3/turbo'd Mx5 Miata I've built. The first one was more simple- engine position dictated by where the transmission bell housing mounting face sat. Everything fit nicely, worked well. I put about 5,000 miles on the car including a 900 mile road trip from Atlanta around Florida and back home. It made a little over 300whp and was fun and reliable.

My original plan was to pick up a cheap 90 Miata and just move the parts over. I did manage to do cheap- thanks to a very generous friend with a project Miata that had been under a tarp for more than a few years. But the plan to move all the go fast parts over turned into a "let's do it better this time around." I've enjoyed that approach- I've learned a tremendous amount.
