Fastest FreeEMS vehicle thread!

Post by Fred »

I guess the Volvo will hold this title for a while to come, but eventually this thread will become long and unweildy and contain many interesting cars :-) In fact, I bet Sean's LT1T Camaro will be the fastest for a long time as soon as it runs :-)

1st) Volvo : 93mph 9:15pm 11/10/09 Detroit time on the I96 about 1.5 hours from Detroit :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPcjQO2S4fI

The Volvo hit a genuine 106mph verified on a GPS today :-) The previous speed/drive mentioned above was only by luck, todays was a tuned proper effort, awesome :-)

Fastest acceleration goes to my truck for now! It's good for about a 13.0 on a drag strip, better with a new gearbox and suspension and tyre changes. Top speed still goes to the volvo as I never got the truck near a piece of road suitable for going off the clock :-) It would have done about 230kph, though, if I had, on the rev limiter at 8k, in 5th.

The original 740 was naturally asphyxiated, but I would love to see something more wild in this thread :-)

BTW, Sean's turbo LT1 Camaro probably deserves a place in this thread too. Another unmeasured car, but I can vouch for the fact that it's fast, and it's running FreeEMS these days :-)

I just wish we spent more time playing with it on FreeEMS. You still have yet to drive it running FreeEMS.
