Just a little list to help me visualise when/why I'll work on what.

  1. Caravan diff swap (one weekend) [before 740 G80]
  2. BMW further reductions, garage shuffle, sales (two weekends) [ASAP, really]
  3. Carib tow bar fittings front and rear (a few evenings) [before taking it up]
  4. Carib delivery trip (one weekend) [before end of Feb]
  5. Volvo 244 B234F swap (one to two weekends, plus 1 or 2 more) [before end of March]
  6. Volvo 740 pulley and front brakes and bushes (one weekend) ASAP
  7. Volvo 740 rear brakes, G80 (one weekend) [before mid April]
  8. Volvo 360 flywheel twist (one weekend) [ASAP, no deadline]
  9. KP60 rust fixes + reassembly + WOF (many evenings) [ASAP, no deadline]
  10. Suzuki front end fixes (a few evenings, need parts) [ASAP, no deadline]
  11. Volvo 740 engine build (many evenings) [ASAP, no deadline]
  12. Stagea new exhaust system (one weekend) [before next WOF/August]
  13. More life/wife/land/driveway/gravel project work (requires funds) [before winter]
  14. Cabin, car port, deck, water source, solar system (requires funds) [before next summer]

And that's approximately 2018 gone!

Tomorrow I hope to complete WOF fixes for Stagea before heading out for dinner so I can WOF it first thing Saturday morning. Currently expired.

So perhaps the Volvo diff and/or BMW/garage reduction and/or Carib tow setup can start this weekend! Can't see any reason why not.

Been super busy over the last N months, to the point of:

1) Not uploading all the pics that I have taken for uploading
2) Not posting using the pics that I did get around to uploading

Due to the nature of twitter, the longer you leave it, the harder it gets to retrospectively do. Still possible, though.

Threads that have media awaiting them and need updates:

Volvo 240 sedan - damage
Volvo caravan - travel + mods
Tools - purchases
Volvo 740 sedan - usage
Volvo 240 wagon - usage
Volvo 940 wagon - usage
Dirt - progress

And maybe more? Better finish this cereal and get outside and knock off #1 from the other post before it starts raining again.

Caravan diff swap complete! Did all of the work yesterday after I wasted all of the non-rainy hours the day before.

Just need to tweak the suspension bush situation and swap the brakes around with the 740 sedan and it's "done" again for now. But where to hide the G80 until I can use it? Hmmm.

Garage clean up is DEFINITELY next (after the brake part swap tomorrow or tonight). But need some fine weather to spread myself out before I can do that. Or buy a gazebo to stand up outside the garage?

B234F into 240 sedan complete! Well, near enough. I'm dailying it to work with no wideband and bad fuel economy and 95 RON because I heard it pinging a bit with 91 RON in there.

G80 into 740 swap about 1/3 done after a weekend of messing around and making insufficient progress on just about everything. Sigh. Hoping to complete that tomorrow night or the night after, latest.

Shuffled KP60 to RHS of garage so I can walk past it, but need to drag it back to left to get it out again as the doors can't be opened with it on the right. Bought 8 small sets of shelves, of which 3 are already in service, 2 more assembled but yet to be positioned, and 3 more yet to be assembled at all.

Past the 740 there's no urgent WOF work or fixes due, so I can get on with projects and fun stuff, I think. Such as sorting out the 360 flywheel...

740 G80 swap done, just needs some safe tyres to be on standby and it will be WOF ready.

Carib, boat, and 360 flywheel are next. Smashing through it so far, but winter is coming. I see a gazebo purchase in my future.

This weekend will either be 360 engine pull/index/put-back OR a bunch of smaller chores like:

0) Garage tidying to accept Stagea transmission setup
1) Volvo 240 wagon headlight - dry weather
2) Volvo 240 sedan engine mount - dry weather
3) Volvo 740 sedan pulley - dry weather
4) BMW chopping
5) Press building
6) Crane mods
7) Caravan dent pull - dry weather
8) Caravan suspension mods - dry weather
9) KP tidy up etc.
10) 940 clean flame trap - dry weather, preferred, but not necessary
11) 940 replace power steering pump - dry weather
12) Chair welding for/with Rob
13) Rear tow bar obtain for Carib
14) ?

etc.

Checked the weather: Rain rain rain, 0) is high on the cards, other items in between, maybe. 360 will have to wait. Carib mission canceled/postponed due to my partner in crime doing a runner to China.
