I recently made a repair to the cracked plastic side tank
its not just a dribble as apposed to a gusher,
the igniter's I was using were a pair of hitachi dual channel module's being made to run two coils from one channel and were getting a bit hot so I ordered some ISL9V5036P3 IGBT's and attached them to a board I had made for a customer of mine.

the result is a logged 8100rpm loaded engine speed and I think i saw 8300rpm unloaded.
I have yet to properly set the timing as the offset was a guess and there are no marks on the engine for TDC other than the camshaft timing marks and they are not on TDC #1 so I'll have to spend I bit more time on that.
although the auto ECU is no longer getting load info from the OEM ECU, the car drive's very smooth.
so if you drive it at anything more than light loads it up-shifts to soon so it requires manual shifting if you want to beat it. so i think I'll just drive it like a nanna.
let say its in its retirement. it was after all destined for the scrap heap.
