Windows FTDI Serial Speed Settings

Serial sucks on Windows, surprise surprise. You need to fix some config to make it work right. Good apps work anyway, shit apps break. My loader works, and is just slow...

Do this stuff:


Open device manager, and find your COM port item:

Go to the port settings tab:

Hit the advanced button, and you'll see this:

Then change it to look like this instead:

Then hit OK three times and be happy.

I thought there was a sticky about this from ages ago, but I searched yesterday and didn't find one. Here it is, better late than never. Took the screen shots yesterday, forgot to post the thread.

Once connected and your "mouse" arrow goes crazy, do this:

Better to do that first, really :-D This is for making the performance acceptable/good.
