A lot got done and very late last night I drove it to the new place under its own power! #2 rides again! :-) Time to give the Volvo some loving and get it into the FreeEMS list before the big road trip early March.

Took it for a little drive today. Expectedly, couldn't make any real power, just broke up and popped and crackled. I should have a look at one of the few logs I grabbed and see why it breaks up. Likely going lean I guess. Computer still thinks it's a 1.8 :-o

Track day for ute, or FreeEMS the Volvo? Vote here: https://www.facebook.com/FreeEMS/posts/ ... 4724394022

Considering it's already 5 B votes and no other votes, I just bought a tow coupling for her.

I'll be building something like this, but less shit:

Still needs a water pump and other stuff doing, though. I have tomorrow night, and Tuesday night only. Wednesday night I'll be packing and we'll be up early on Thursday morning to go to the track day.

Also picked up these for her short term and long term, respectively:

Well, tomorrow is the big day, first time for this truck on a race track of any kind, and it's NZ's most challenging with rise and fall and off-camber corners etc. Good thing I'll just be boosting on straights and cruising around the outside of corners. Time for 4 hours sleep and more car-packing. Buenas noches, tios.
