Re: Jaguar 0.7-alpha kits For Sale
I received 51 Jaguar 0.7-alpha boards in all their green solder mask and gold plated solder pad glory along with the stainless steel stencil mounted on a sturdy aluminum frame.
Click on the photos to view full size:
PCBs with the stencil:
I am in the process of making a jig to hold the stencil and the PCBs so that I can apply the solder paste. After I complete this jig, I will be soldering together PCB #1 for bench testing and road testing on the FreeEMS S10
I will be placing the BOM parts kits orders on Monday, June 16th
[EDIT] Added photos

Fred, MoZda and GURLB8:
I have run into a problem trying to purchase the 400kPa pressure sensors, Freescale discontinued them in the SOP-8 (8-SMD) footprint that I used on the Jaguar PCBs. They are now only available in the SSOP-8 package which is half the size of the SOP-8 package.
I can have adapter boards made to allow us to use the smaller SSOP-8 package 400kPa pressure sensors that ARE available, but that will add $10 USD to your respective orders.
Let me know if this is acceptable and I will design the adapter board and have them fabricated ASAP.

After giving the adapter board design some thought and a few hours of collaboration with Fred, here is information on the SSOP-8 to SOP-8 adapter board we have designed and I have ordered:

In other news, I have been driving the S10 around with my Jaguar 0.7-alpha... I have been giving it a proper test and I can report the new high side driver is working properly to control the factory fuel pump relay.
