@ Fred ! BOM attached ! the 8pin IC is the CAN driver, the same as on the M$ Board.

@ molak ! note that the Board is in development.
At the moment it is not far enough to be called a real replacement for the M$

I may have a assembled Board for you --> send me an pm ..

Thanks for doing that :-)

Another thing you might want to do is add a pin to PCB mapping document in ms v3.0 terms. That'd be useful for me hooking it up on the bench too.

ruzki,

I'd quite like to asist you with this project if I could.

I have many talents all of which are most likely no use but I realy see potential with
this 40pin based board.

I have 20 or more M$ installs under my belt and more importantly 2 engines run with my TA card based FreeEms ECU. (soon to be 3!)

let me know what I can do to be of assistance!.

Daniel.

Buy a couple of BOMs for them, I have two of the PCBs, but no parts. You're most welcome to one of them! :-)

Damn ! i have to get this license thing done .. :)

At the moment i´m the only one who ist testing this Boards.
Functionality is limited, further firmware development is needed
If there are 5 or more people who would buy a BOM Kit or fully build Boards i could found Fred a fully build Board.
That would help Fred with development.

My thoughts for the future are maybe to release a 80pin processor Board and also a real 4 cylinder main board.
The 80 pin processor Board would be compatible with a M$ v3.0 Board and the main board would be compatible with a M$-3 Board.
And with a real 4 cylinder board i mean that it has:

4x Injector driver
4x Ignition driver (5v and coil)
1x 2-wire Idle valve driver
1x Boost valve driver
1x Tacho driver
1x Fuel pump driver
2x VR or Hall inputs MAX9926
1x MAP input
1x BARO input
5x Analog inputs (O2,BRV,TPS,CLT,IAT)
1x Spare analog inputs
2x digital inputs
1x Rs-232 communication
1x Bluetooth BTM-222 communication

The goal is to have a board that has nothing unnecessary to make it small as possible
