This Pontiac Solstice was my first new vehicle purchase. Previously, I had driven or owned only used or hand-me-down cars: a Ford Taurus, Chrysler LeBaron, Toyota Tercel, Honda Civic, Chevy Beretta, and a Chevy Malibu. The Malibu began to have so many superficial problems that I took out a loan and went shopping for whatever "the creators of the
Trans-Am" had on the market. Pontiac's website won me over instantly with an interactive image of a black Solstice and by my 34th birthday, Toxic Sol rolled off the lot. 3 speeding tickets and a written warning later, it's still my pride and joy.
