Hentai is happy, his car is ready to go, as soon as he wires in some hw! :-)

Deuce is happy, his car is up and running stronger than ever! :-)

Peter is happy, his setup is fixed and ready for testing! :-)

I'm not happy, so I should work on that a bit. ;-)

Upgraded the new 4and2 decoder to 4 sync points tonight. Did a lot of other work today too, but can't quite say what it was, mostly because I don't remember.

Bed!

Progress on the OLV release is coming along nicely!

Image

[detached HEAD 8e53a56] Add git, maven and system information to the build. Title bar now displays the application version. About box information is legitimate and dynamic.
5 files changed, 158 insertions(+), 33 deletions(-)

Much more work in that than it would appear by the change stats.

Worked on OLV all day with nothing to show for it! Progress WAS made, though. Just not visible, yet. Some never will be.

OLV now builds:
  • simple jar, soon to be useless
  • bin jar with all deps, soon to be essential (runnable with java -jar or double click in most guis)
  • tar.bz2 for linux with above big bin jar, launch script and readme file
  • OLV.app.zip for mac os X
  • DMG with app inside it (only if built on osx)
  • exe for execution on winblows
That's everything covered.

I was going to do a .deb too, but the plugin doesn't exist, and I don't care much.

.deb plugin DOES exist! :-)

Code: Select all

fred@cheetah:~/git/OpenLogViewer$ sudo dpkg -i target/*.deb
(Reading database ... 248768 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace openlogviewer 0.0.3+SNAPSHOT (using .../OpenLogViewer_0.0.3+SNAPSHOT.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement openlogviewer ...
Setting up openlogviewer (0.0.3+SNAPSHOT) ...
Awesome! :-)
