This is what the girl looked like when i picked her up many moons ago....

I have spent many many countless hours and late nights working on this beast, and this roughly how it sits now.

Mods List:

4AGE engine with forged bottom end
4AGE 20V cylinder head
Niteparts bellhousing with W57 5 speed gearbox
Ford 9" Diff conversion, mini-tubbed rear end
Custom intake manifold
Custom exhaust manifold
Precision 5557SP ball bearing turbocharger
Tial external wastegate
Gilmer driver kit
the list continues on.... I have most definately forgotten a lot of things....

Last few photos are quite recent, I have added the front mount intercooler and aluminium radiator since then though.

Lots more things to say, but dont have time to mention them right now.

A true work in progress! Awaiting a RavAGE ECU! :-)

If you make the power you want to, it'll be awaiting a stronger box too :-)

Seen it all before, love it just as much now! :-)

There was a guy with a TT 1uzfe in a caldina wagon in nz. em_knaps went for a ride in it, dude would only floor it in 4th because he'd broken every other gear in other boxes, or something like that! :-) Different kettle of torque/fish, but still :-)

I know it will/can make the power, but torque levels to destroy the box, I am uncertain about....... time will tell... :-)

Either way I am going to have fun trying to break something, thats what counts!

Ordered $600 of fuel fittings/teflon braided hose/aluminium hardline/filters/etc last night. Will post a pic of the mega order when it arrives.

injectors and regulator sorted.

just need to decide on fuel pump, whether to just throw a noisey bosch 044 or two in or go with something nicer.

intercooler sitting and waiting for fitment.

bends for cooler piping and drag exhaust awaiting welding and fitment. (dump pipe leaves turbo and exits just behind passenger side front wheel)

Lots to do! Stay tuned!

What's nicer than the 044? The aeromotive ones are crap. I guess Denso do some big suckers for OEM supras etc. What have you got in mind? I'm curious! :-)

What's the power goal? Looks like 2500 or 2000 hp are excessive and will just heat fuel and require huge return lines and huge regulators with potentially less than ideal regulation. However the MIGHTY ENDURO & MIGHTY SUMO-PUMPS seem like a good fit if you can't stand the 044. Personally, I like the noise, it sounds purposeful and tells you when the fuel is getting low or hot due to pitch and cavitation.

sound points regarding hearing the 044's mighty roar.

realistically i will probably use one of them for the interim and decided on whether i will change it or not later on.
