Yeah, OK, just making sure :-) I saved the page anyway, so if it goes, then I have a record. I have a long record of almost everything ever posted. Some of the long gone stuff was quite interesting at the time.

I used to do that with email subscription but it's no longer available. What was very interesting was seeing the initial uncensored version of each post without having to be on the forum 24/7. There's quite a lot of things that disappeared due to censorship or pruning and not just "offensive" stuff but also a lot of good technical data.

Exactly :-( my main reason however was that google didn't index msefi due to the robots.txt file reading "Go away!!" (as if the robots read it LOL), so I used gmail as a MegaSquirt search engine of sorts that included the pruned and edited and deleted and moved stuff as some icing/bonus :-)

And *Poof!* it's back :

It's look very nice and there are some tuning capabilities.
Anyone testing it with MS ?

Sorry if it is wrong place to a post but there is no section for Win devices.
renns wrote:Looks like a neat application. I'm sure with a bit of tweaking it could be configured to suit MS. Unfortunately, the invisible forum mods hacked your link, likely basing it on rule #1 of the FAQ, although I personally don't see it necessary in this case. For those wanting to see the page, google pdacockpit, and you'll find it in a flash. The Orwellian touch around here can sure be a turn-off at times.

It's quite ironic to have a post mention Orwellian touch disappear even though the "official" reason is probably the mention of the big evil VEMS (nice touch with the edit there ;) ).

I actually didn't even think of it like that :-) I just thought, the link is broken, fix it. I also had to fix the rules link as it didn't copy paste across (no wysiwyg editor here). You are right though, it illustrates the difference nicely doesn't it :-) i.e. I have no financial/pride interests to protect by filtering information... I did note that VEMS is mentioned and not deleted on ms3efi.com already. That is a positive change :-) I also noted no user called Lance over there. Someone should sign up as Lance for a laugh :-)

KeithG wrote:Like I said, Sounds great. What driver circuit is he testing? What input circuit is proposed? I am of the opinion that more eyes are better. We do not want to derail anything, but would like to know what is going on. Can you leak a little of this, or am I just too far in the dark and this is published somewhere else that I have not found?
Nice work there! I wonder if they will catch on and involve the potential user base such that peoples ideas and constructive criticism can get through and make a positive difference to the end product?

Not pointing the finger here, but if James had made a thread about his testing others would have read it and could have offered potential solutions to his load issue. This *could* have sped up the process and/or made it more reflective of actual use cases. Maybe he has the optimum solution already? He's a talented guy, so probably, but maybe not also.

Doesn't quite fit with this from Bruce on April 13 does it...

Also, also.

I am also as well.

Is Bruce (In order of increasing probability) :

A. Uneducated?
B. Lazy?
C. Busy?
D. Tired?
E. Angry at what Keith said?

My vote goes towards E.

And, this just sounds like trouble to me :
Bruce wrote:For the tach input, one thing I am looking at is what was proposed at the MegaMeet a year ago, the "Direct Digital Sampling" method (pat. pend).
I'll have to look up that patent application for a laugh. The last one was certainly laughable. This one just seems frivolous and pointless - LM1815.
