FreeEMS Releases

Post by Fred »

I thought to save digging through my firmware diary, that I would post this thread and simply place each release in it as they occur. I'm not sure how to arrange it just yet, but I'll work something out.

For a start, all releases can be downloaded from the freeems download site (in case I am slack about letting you know, unlikely, but possible) :

http://download.freeems.org

Otherwise, the latest is probably on the top of this list anyway.

Before downloading any files related to this project, please read our disclaimer here : http://www.diyefi.org/disclaimer.htm

The latest release can be found here :

WARNING: The 0.1.1 release is not generally useful. If you're serious about running FreeEMS consult with me and run only the latest or recommended almost latest firmware built from source. A HUGE amount of work has gone into the firmware since 0.1.1 and continues to go into it every day.

Obsolete :

0.1.1-XGATED http://download.freeems.org/releases/freeems-0.1.1/
0.1.0-UltraJizz http://download.freeems.org/releases/freeems-0.1.0/
0.0.X All http://download.freeems.org/releases/freeems-0.0.X/
0.0.19-Doxygenated
0.0.18-JackTheRipper
0.0.17-SpudEchoes
0.0.16-FlashGordon
0.0.15-Avogadro
0.0.14-entropy
0.0.13-googoogaga
0.0.12-bastard
0.0.11-cookin'
0.0.10-squashed
0.0.9-exponent
0.0.8-glen
0.0.7
0.0.6
0.0.5
0.0.4
0.0.3
0.0.2
0.0.1

Lastly, I need help, well, yes, in lots of ways, but in particular, I need help naming the releases :-)

Go for it.

FreeEMS Roadmap!

Post by Fred »

From now on, tracking of progress on the next release (and subsequent ones to a lesser extent) will be done using the issue tracker and its roadmap functionality!

http://issues.freeems.org/roadmap_page.php?project_id=1

There you can see just what still needs doing for the next release, and the intended version number of that release.

I'll continue to bump this thread when releases are made as before. This post can persist, though.
