how close ?

I'd like to see some of the bugfixes you've been making. I'm getting bored staring at the same old code :D

Well, I *don't* want you to see the fixes, because that shows you what I did wrong and some of it... is embarrassing :-) Never the less though, I'll be putting it up as soon as it is tidy and doesn't cause any regressions in the other code in there. Basically a few days or weeks after I hit NZ and have a little spare time to relax :-)

Be patient, we're getting there :-) 130 miles on FreeEMS last night!! :-)

More tuning today, done my user m2cupcar aka Rob :-) I really haven't done that much to it, just minor stuff as mentioned in my diary thread. It's just hacked and patched to function at all/properly/work with the volvo. You'll see, Aaron has done the vast majority of the work in the last few months, I did all my work 6 months ago or more :-) I've done significant testing for Aaron and myself though. This is true.

This thread needs a bump....

Because I'm pretty confident that I'll push my work up tomorrow some time!

That could still go haywire, I have a lot of other stuff to do tomorrow too, but it should be possible. It's 2:20am now, though, and I have a call to receive in the morning.

Thanks for your patience!

Done! I'm gunna work on it on the plane and most nights in the US, probably. We should try to coordinate any efforts to avoid wasted time/arguments :-)

Awesome.

So at this point, what you have checked in is the code that worked while down in FL right? Which has room for spark, but is currently capable of fuel delivery. I'll look forward to checking it out and stewing it over.

Yep, the only difference between the code I ran, and the code as it builds in Git right now is that I had FALSE in the IAT input block to lock the temp to 20C. Otherwise it is identical. There is a bug in the IDT lookup stuff that means I had to fix it at 1200ticks - this is still present, as is fixed value. I'll be endeavouring to figure that one out asap. I used the "Simple" decoder for the Volvo. Lots of work still to do in many ways, but yes, this DID work :-)
