That's something to be discussed in a hardware thread really. This thread is specifically for working out the variable ranges and calculations between to obtain a workable error free and accurate math and input engine for the system. It is just a convenient place to provide good accuracy and fine grain changes. It also allows for the theoretical and practical limits of Lamda values.EGO-- why go down to zero and up so high
