Useful USB to Serial for firmware/software development

Post by malcom2073 »

Fred requested that I post this here.

So typically the best way to do firmware/software dev is thus:

Fred recommends buying one of these: http://www.parallax.com/tabid/768/Produ ... fault.aspx
and modifying it to add external power

However, if you have more money than sense, I found one of these: http://www.technologicalarts.ca/catalog ... cts_id=458
Comes pre-modded with the power wire. Just something I thought was useful.
