BTW, you can UP the speed of the serial too! You could wind it up to double and the firmware should keep up fine, assuming your recorder and interface can. I'd LOVE to see a fully high res log out of it setup like that!!! :-)

One thing that became evident when hacking my system together was the need for some user interaction when it comes to Data logging. I hooked up a push button so that I can stop and start logging to a new file. The idea is to pull up to the start line and start a new log. I also needed an LED to let me know that I was logging.

Though you could put some GP LEDs inside the case connected to IO just for such a purpose. If they were on the sd/usb/etc end, they could be poked through the end plate.
