OLV on Debian now comes with a menu item:

Probably won't do the same for windows for this release, but may in future.

Pretty cool IMO! Note, Linux was installed using a .deb (both boxes), windows was running from a .exe and mac could have been installed from a DMG, but I was building it there, so it didn't matter.

And one installed from DMG, just to be sure!

EDIT: I see the VM args need some attention on each platform...

Teaser for tonight:

Yes, you read that right. "12183RPMReadingInFreeEMS.png"

About 22336 RPM/second on the up slope!

No, it's not running, yet. Just reading the sensors.

OLV is super close to release now! Just four more issues. I knocked out some work tonight by adding a new user-requested feature (thanks Aitor) and finishing off some other tidbits. The download site for the old version is back up and won't be down again without a major problem, too. I hope to knock out at least one more issue tomorrow, perhaps two. The last two will take a day each. Then there's a stand down period in which someone else needs to play catch up. Once they're up to speed, I'll release 0.0.3 and start hacking on the firmware in a serious and ruthless way. Onwards and upwards, no one to slow us down now! :-)

OK, time frame is before bed on Sunday night Spain time for OLV 0.0.3 release. Target set.

To achieve this I need to release custom plugins and deploy them to my nexus repo. No big deal, not my preference, but good enough for now. Will try to get whatever work I do upstreamed and officially released to maven central soon. Can't let their cycles hold us up, though. Hooray for open sauce.

Goal for tomorrow: Full Spanish translation of OLV and full localisation of all strings.

Rest of the week will be coding some freeems stuff.

I've been working on a nice professional grade installer for OLV this morning, however I don't know if I'll have time for it to go into the 0.0.3 release, maybe for some later release, though. Here's the teaser:

Should keep the mac fanboys happy :-)

You know you're doing it wrong when...

You have a shower at 6am, because you're going to bed then, not getting up.

More next time. Good progress tonight. More tomorrow.

Top secret.
