FreeEMS Board ruzki
Re: FreeEMS Board ruzki
Also, if you want people to help, put this stuff in a Git repo! Anything else is just unprofessional, really.

Re: FreeEMS Board ruzki
You need to add the LOAD circuit back to Port A6 or else you won't be able to load firmware. At a minimum you need a 1k ohm resistor between Port A6 and the LOAD jumper and a 2.4k ohm resistor from the LOAD jumper to Vcc. The LOAD jumper is used by jumpering it to ground to boot the microprocessor into the serial monitor mode so that the loader software on your PC can work.ruzki wrote:tooly suggested a additional pin for MAF so here ist v0.2b
This board will be sent for production tomorrow... if nobody has concerns
See my attachment for the circuit.
Andy.

This is exactly why you should pay attention to reference design schematics such as jaguar and ravage.
You leave out critical stuff like the load jumper circuit and you are on your own and in for a world of frustration and dirty hardware hacks.

Re: FreeEMS Board ruzki
I guess to summarise:
1 Use Git.
2 Take your time/Don't rush
3 Study/check ravage/jaguar extensively
Don't take offense to the above posts. They may be harsh, but it's for your own good.

Re: FreeEMS Board ruzki
Quick Update !
Board is running.
I have tested ADC´s, Injectors and fuel pump with 0.2.0-SNAPSHOT from DEUCE.
For test purpose have inserted and removed the Board about 50 times. It feels pretty rigid and solid.
I didn't buy the special bended connector, just took the standard ones and bended them..
Thanks everyone who gave me constructive Feedback
now will mess around with firmware ...
Yes BRV is wrong ..

Cool :-) Now that you intend to do something with it, please post a thread about your vehicle/application in the users' rides section and detail your setup there. If you don't do that, I can't tell you how to proceed, and if you try to proceed on your own, you may will have issues.

Re: FreeEMS Board ruzki
Fred suggested to upload the files on a repository.
So now it is on Github.

Good stuff! :-) It could do with a license, may I suggest copying what Andy has done with Jaguar for that. viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2394
