OK, so tonight I have drawn up the connector footprint in Altium, added it to the library and drawn the PCB up based off of my measurements. I buggered one of them up, but have it noted to be corrected on the next push to the repo.
Tonight's work has been pushed to my git repo![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Corbon - yes altium can import AutoCAD DXF files
I will PM you my email address.
Fred - I would like to talk to you about a few things potentially code related and/or feature related. The use of the diagnostics plug (as another RS232 port or CAN port) is one of them. If it is thought that it may be use-able for tuning, that would be cool too, but I doubt it as the factory cabling to the plug appears unshielded and could potentially cause issues. The use of the always-on philosophy would be nice for this too, as the ecu has inputs from the ignition barrel for the "ON" and "start/crank" positions and it also drives the main EFI relay as well.
Skype soon or something I guess. Whenever we are both available.
