If you can give a tach pulse for every count of the inner 6 tooth wheel (or 4 in the case of SR20's) then this will be perfect for the R33. You only need a divisor for 6 cylinder cars in 4 cylinder chassis such as RB swaps into S13 Silvia's. Not needed, just nice to have later. Correct, late Nissans are 5v logic pulse, earlier cars are 12V logic pulse. They don't need the back-emf from the coil (speaking for most 1980s Nissans, earlier carby era likely will).Fred wrote: Tacho output is completely configurable within the bounds of your input pattern. This may prove to be not good enough for the skybucket, in that case? Or may be OK if the regularity of pulses is irrelevant. Will be schedulable like an injector or ignition pulse later, so no panic. 5V ones are just a logic pulse and 12V require a coil kick back? Or what?
Thanks!Dan wrote:Added jumper for tacho voltage output selection.

Which measurements do you need? Give me a list and I'll see what I can do, somewhere in storage I have an R33 ecu, RB26 ecu, 300ZX Z32 ecu, R32 RB20 and an S13 SR20 ecu.Dan wrote:Hell Fire - please post your dimension measurements for comparison, as I would like to cross check my measurements with yours before I order these PCB's.
You'll probably be happy to know that R33's respond very well to a decent tune, they are very conservative in the higher-load fuel and ignition maps. With a stock turbo, front mount intercooler and a decent exhaust you'll end up somewhere around 200rwkw on 12psi with a decent tune. You can squeeze a bit more boost in if you don't mind chancing shattering the ceramic turbine wheel but personally I wouldn't.

No worries!XR Pilot wrote:Thanks!Dan wrote:Added jumper for tacho voltage output selection.![]()

I am running my ball bearing precision 5557SP turbo and tial 38mm MVS wastegate on it for a while initially, as I plan on running bigger on it when I slap some forgies in it later on when it is rebuild timeXR Pilot wrote:

A solid nights work from me. Mostly background stuff, although PCB routing has commenced with CPU decouple caps, pll, clk and some io traces routed!
More to come soon!

Ditto Corbon and XR Pilot too, re dimensions, if they have them available.Dan wrote:Hell Fire - please post your dimension measurements for comparison, as I would like to cross check my measurements with yours before I order these PCB's.
EDIT, I see XR has come through without my interference. Good work.

Sure!In all seriousness though I'll try and catch you on Skype sometime soon, a fair bit has changed recently. I'm no longer living in Newcastle for one.

Dan, commit PDFs on request only? No point in bloating repos?
Fred.

Re: Nissan R33 RB25DET ECU PCB
Just received some dimensions for comparison from Rob!

Cheers mate you're a legend!
NOTE: PDF of the above dimensions is attached also.
EDIT: I can also verify that the above dimensions confirm my own

Thanks Hell Fire!

Re: Nissan R33 RB25DET ECU PCB
Spent a bit of time on the RB25 PCB today! It's coming along nicely!
