Jaguar 0.7-alpha parts kit labeling issues

Post by Fred »

Four of the packets of parts had lists of component refs that were too long and got truncated! I've gathered them up for anyone who has not built their board(s) up yet. You can also check the 0.7 BOM .ods file to confirm, this is just for quick reference/convenience.

1N5818 Schottky Diodes

No pic, sorry. Listing shows D6 through D47 with just D48 missing after the trailing comma. D48 is one of the input clamps vaguely near the MAP sensor, as are all of these diodes.

0.1uF Capacitors

C54 is missing from the list (only C6 to C49 are shown)

1k 1% Resistors

Lots missing: R59,60,70,71,74,77,78,80,81,83,84,87,88,95,104,105
Only R7 to R56 are shown.

2.43k 1% Resistors

R75 is missing from the list. Only R8 to R72, and the 7 from the missing R75 are shown.

100k 1% Resistors

R102 and R103 are missing from the list. Only R14 to R90, and the '10' from R102 are shown.

Please note, all components are included, these are just missing from the labels. Hope this helps your assembly speed just a little :-)

Totally unrelated build tip: Install the 1N4004 diodes for the DPAK FETs before the FETs themselves, or you may accidentally fill in the holes, which are already a tight fit on the diode legs.

Kaptan tape can be a lifesaver when working in tight confines. It gets really boring when you realise you've just filled 3-4 component holes in the bank next to where you're working ... :?
