Re: Jaguar 0.6-alpha progress
I tested the PNP clamp circuit before, tomorrow I'll test the individual analog inputs and publish the results.

Re: Jaguar 0.6-alpha progress
Acid testing the inputs:
With the 12v-SW input connected to a 13.2v battery positive terminal and the GND2 input connected to the negative terminal of the same battery the Analog-5v supply was measured at 5.00v.
I then applied 13.2v to each of the inputs and measured the Analog-5v rail with a DMM, here are the results:
TPS input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.15v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
O2 input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.15v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
MAP external input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.15v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
IAT input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.15v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
CHT input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.15v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
BRV input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v (as expected), CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
I then applied -13.2v to each of the inputs and measured the Analog-5v rail with a DMM, here are the results:
TPS input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
O2 input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
MAP external input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
IAT input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
CHT input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
BRV input: measured the Analog-5v rail at 5.00v, CPU-5v rail measured at 5.00v
I then connected all the inputs above to the +13.2v supply at the same time and verified that the Analog-5v rail and the CPU-5v rail stayed within tolerance (supply rail +/-0.3v according to Freescale specifications). The CPU-5v remained at 5.00v and the Analog-5v rail never was seen to go above 5.20v.
I then overloaded the TPS-5v output by connecting a 1 ohm 10W resistor between the TPS-5v output and ground and measured the voltage across the resistor (0.50v) which according to Ohm's Law equates to 0.50A (I=V/R). The Analog-5v rail remained at 5.00v and the CPU-5v rail remained at 5.00v. The TPS-5v output (at the solder pad, which is after the fuse, F1) was seen to go to 0.26v indicating the fuse opened the circuit.
More test results as they happen...

Re: Jaguar 0.6-alpha progress
Here is a log from EMStudio of the S10 running on the Jaguar 0.6-alpha PCB. Just idling in the driveway with a slow rev up and back down a few times.
