Updated Jaguar/dev branch with X-OR part number for devices rated for 24mA, changed Crank and Cam input names to RPM0 and RPM1, added PK4 and PK5 solder pads to allow those outputs to be used and finally added a picture of the GM 4 cylinder DIS/Injection Timing.

Re K4/K5, you may want to bring out more interesting pins and change the config to suit. GP outputs don't HAVE to go there :-)

Any updates with this mate?DeuceEFI wrote:
I have EMStudio communicating to the MCU through the ADUM1201 wonderfully, I have had it running for the last 48 hours without any issues
Next up is to test the Texas Instruments/Dallas Semiconductor ISO7421ED which is supposed to be a drop in pin for pin replacement for the Analog Devices ADUMx201 series.

Re: Jaguar A4 PCB Status
I have installed the Texas Instruments/Dallas Semiconductor ISO7421ED digital isolator on malcom2073's Jaguar A3 board and have verified that it works with similar results to the ADUM1201WTRZ digitial isolator. I will post a Saleae trace of the I/O this evening before packing the board for shipment.
With that being said, I will remove the ADUM1201 from my Jaguar A2 development board and replace it with an ADUM3201 for testing.

Re: Jaguar A4 PCB Status
I have tested the Texas Instruments/Dallas Semiconductor ISO7421ED digital isolator and have included the Saleae Logic trace of both RX and TX from both the MCU and from the FTDI chip.
From the trace you will see there are no timing issues between the inputs and the outputs.
This chip is a pin for pin compatible with the Analog Devices ADUMx201 series of digital isolators.
p.s. you can down load the Saleae Logic program from http://www.saleae.com/downloads
