I have re-labeled all of the Jaguar schematics and PCB layout to show the version as "0.4-alpha" instead of the "Revision A4" in accordance with the following thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1935

I have also changed the subject of this thread to: Jaguar 0.4-alpha PCB Status (was Jaguar A4 PCB Status).

Sorry it took so long to post these results.

Drum roll, please...

I have attached the Saleae trace of the I/O during ECU interrogation...

The short notes are: the ADUM3201 performed the same as the ADUM1201 and ISO7421ED.

I did have to use the seank.hackers.special.by.fred.s19 Serial Monitor after all. When I unplugged the USB connector and plugged it back in all I saw in cutecom was 0s (zeros) until I changed the parity to none then connected, then disconnected and changed the parity back to odd then reconnected. This was the same behavior I saw before the PNP modification with the original Serial Monitor.

So for the record:

Andy's Jaguar A2 Serial #1 has an ADUM1201WTRZ and the seank.hackers.special.by.fred.s19 Serial Monitor
Andy's Jaguar A3 Serial #1 has an ADUM3201WBRZ and the seank.hackers.special.by.fred.s19 Serial Monitor
Jeff's Jaguar A3 Serial #2 has an ADUM1201WTRZ and the seank.hackers.special.by.fred.s19 Serial Monitor
Mike's Jaguar A3 Serial #3 has an ISO7421ED and the seank.hackers.special.by.fred.s19 Serial Monitor
Justin's Jaguar A3 Serial#4 has the PNP mod with the original FreeEMS Serial Monitor
Fred's Jaguar A3 Serial#5 has ??? (to be updated later)

Fred's has the same hacked SM, but just three jumpers across the SMD opto pins to eliminate them and join the ground. Has worked flawlessly in my testing. My Puma has the hacked SM too, and straight FT232RL chip. My TA still has the original SM.

Thanks for testing this!

Well here we are 2 months into 2013 and I'm slowly making progress on the 0.4-alpha board.
I still need to add the power supply protection circuit to the 5vdc Analog power supply to the schematic and route the PCB.
