correct opto's arrived yesteday! I am keen to solder them in tonight and test them out!

(NOTE: I can easily restore the "hacked" opto setup I currently have to simulate crappy comms scenarios too)

Might try to get me a second Jag PCB actually! :-)

Installed HCPL opto's with 1k resistors all 'round (all four of them). . . . EPIC FAIL!

No comms at all.......nothing.......my hacked mil-spec opto solution worked far greater than these currently do.

Going to bring a scope home from work this coming Monday and sort this shit out! :-)

I have been struggling to find the time to do my scope testing. Work has been way too full on.
Unfortunately this is on the back-burner for me until I can manage to find some time.

OK I have somewhat managed to achieve something...... LOL

It is not ideal, but I have a single channel scope now at home. All the "good" 4 channel ones at work were "missing" when I went scope hunting yesterday for one to bring home.

I may get time to do some testing tomorrow, we shall see.

Let the testicle-ing begin! :-)
