After read some more material for saimese injection. I realized it will be a difficult task.

Not that difficult, from my side, just quite involved and detailed. Things have to be right. That'll take time and interaction with a tester and more time to tune etc.

You r correct that VW firing order will not need siamese setup.

It would be my friend's racing Austin mini with SU carburetors.
Phase 1 will be running ignition only, since the car just enrolled a SU carby class race on September.

FreeEMS with ignition only works really well on a Mini. Check out my thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1048

(Still not quite sure we can compete with those Mallory & MSD ignition equiped minis)

I'll be baking Jaguar Serial #2 tonight so I can test the optos between the FTDI chip and the MCU, plus it will be my test of the mini USB-B connector
