OK, for now the Jaguar board will not have the PS2911-1-3A optos and I have added bypass pads to the schematic and the documentation has directions to install bypass jumper wires.

Once further testing with different optos is completed I will revisit their implementation.

The way this guy pronounces the word "soldered" makes me what to kill him, slowly, with a spoon. Not as much as the amateur way that he solders the heatsink via on the back, ick.

Nice product, though, but very pricey.

I have ordered these Opto-Isolators to test on the Jaguar A3 PCB:

They should be here by 04/10/2012 for testing :-)

Not yet, I have received them from Digikey, but have not built a second Jaguar board to test them with.
I'll bake another Jaguar board this weekend with the Optos on it to test them and report back.

I have while I was waiting on the order to arrive, designed and built 2 USBDM boards that are slightly bigger than a SanDisk USB thumb drive... :-)

I used a Freescale MC9S08JS16CWJ processor, I will post full details in the Soldered forum.
