That really is good news! :-) Well done!
After read some more material for saimese injection. I realized it will be a difficult task.
Not that difficult, from my side, just quite involved and detailed. Things have to be right. That'll take time and interaction with a tester and more time to tune etc.
You r correct that VW firing order will not need siamese setup.
I thought not, thanks for confirming. :-)
Another good news is " after the ignition test on mini, I will focus on the lovely VWs <3.
You know, your positive attitude is so refreshing, that sentence nearly made me cry.

Thanks for being cool!

Fred.

Phase 1 will be running ignition only, since the car just enrolled a SU carby class race on September.
Hi Kennybug.

FreeEMS with ignition only works really well on a Mini. Check out my thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1048

No Problem. FreeEMS kicks butt.

Kennybug,

I'll be baking Jaguar Serial #2 tonight so I can test the optos between the FTDI chip and the MCU, plus it will be my test of the mini USB-B connector :-)

Assuming the rest of the car is up to scratch, yes, the ignition won't be a problem :-) <3
