Updated my repository with changes from lumpensack2003 for the grounds and the resistor between Vbus and 5v-USB. Also added the recommended Schottky diodes between the input 12v and the regulators.

I have locked the Jaguar PCB at Revision A.2 since I am pleased with the layout and will etch at test PCB in the morning.

I have committed/pushed my latest changes to the PCB (no changes have been made to the schematic) to show that the design is locked for testing. This commit has a Hash of 2fb502a51d6ea1f66a5c382bb9613fcd10f7623b dated 02/07/2012 at 0114 EST.

After etching the A.2 board today I noticed something... When I started drilling the holes, the pads started to get very small... It is do-able for testing the USB communications to the CPU, so I will continue drilling holes and use it for bench testing, but I have committed changes to my repository showing the larger pads and even some text.

I will etch and drill one of these before contacting Silver Circuits to have a pilot batch of 4 made professionally so that I have the ground plane on the Thru Hole side.

If you see any issues, please let me know, I would like to order the pilot batch either on Friday 2/10 or on Monday 2/13.

Thanks,

Green trace is TACH signal, Blue trace is EST signal.

They are also in my repository in the docs directory.
OK, I finally understand these! :-)

I will play with the code now and see if I can do something useful for you.

As of freeems-vanilla git hash 9d17091153785233cc6bf310b1b5330d00c5cc21 the Deuce Coupe is able to start and have ignition advance controlled by FreeEMS on my Jaguar A3 Serial #1 board.

I am now working on tuning the engine and having fun driving it out of the garage and around the driveway.
