It's not about that, at all. It's about me typing less (ever had any RSI?), and faster feedback loop in a conversation as opposed to a post-post variation. I've regularly made the best progress in various ways, including educating the willing, over the the phone, slightly worse than in person, and a lot better than in IM, and in turn, IM being better than forum. The end result of the phone call is usually some summary delivered to the community. My thoughts on all above matters are all over the forum in graphic detail, however I'm happy to clarify and elaborate for those in need who seem worth talking to. Your call, pun unintended.

IE, if there weren't 10 long posts when I came back to this thread, I'd have replied to the few points there were, but there were 50 points, and I don't have time to type replies to that many when I've already typed it N times.
