What do you mean "trigger point"? And why would you want to adjust such a thing? The MAX9926 IC is the state of the art, and has adaptive "triggering" so typically "just works" and does not require any configuration for normal use.

Unfortunately I only have one left, which is in my wallet right now, with me here. I can part with it, but ETA on the new design/stock is indefinite. Sorry about that.

I want to be able to adjust the point at which my input results in a 'high output' ('trigger point'); one channel I want to trigger on about 4VDC rising and the other on about 0.3VDC. Can I control the 'trigger point'?

When do you expect to have more available to ship?

I'm not sure that you understand the purpose of a VR conditioner. It might pay to read the MAX9926 datasheet and see if it's going to suit your needs. If you actually have a VR signal, you don't want to change the voltage that it triggers at, because it's not actually a voltage at all (unlike a logic signal from hall or optical sensors). Furthermore, a VR signal that is at a variable speed will, by definition, have a variable peak Voltage. If you DO have a VR signal, a MAX9926 based board will suit your needs.

Unfortunately I can't give an ETA on the RPM boards, however I can say "not soon". I recommend that if you need one soon, you pick up one of Jean's instead.

I hope that helps! :-)

Hello Fred, just another customer in the waiting!

I also wanted to know if you recommend trying to add your board to the MS v3.57 SMB for better performance?

I've read and followed your websites install advice, although it's for the built in MS and MS3 daughter cards VR conditioners, by running a Extruded FEP Jacket Over Shielded PTFE 18 gauge 3 core wire for my 7M-GTE CPS (24+1 for cam & crank signals)

http://www.awcwire.com/part.aspx?partname=SFJ-18/3 - Basically mimicking what Toyota used back in the 80's. I'll be installing next week and hope to eliminate sync loss at various RPM points. I was currently running the shielded 2 core wire DIY-AT sells with their kits and I wasn't impressed when comparing to the stock Toyota wires. My 3rd wire was a HD video cable that worked great and that lead to believe I needed a better wire for my trigger signal input. So long story short, I'm not looking to buy a MS3-pro but rather better understand and find a better solution for my motor and application as many 7M-GTE Supra enthusiast are waiting for my findings.

Any advise would be great!

Yes, if any were available, it'd be a good addition to any MS setup that currently doesn't have a MAX992X device built in.

Good luck with your goals. I'll try to get BrickRPM available again ASAP, though ASAP may not be very S, unfortunately.

Just to confirm my fears, ASAP will not be soon at all. Expect early next year at the earliest, sadly. I simply don't have the time to do the redesign, nor the energy or desire to make any more as they are. I wish it were different, because I really like the little design and want to see them out there being used :-) But it's not. Sorry. :-(

Hey Fred, when will you have more of these in stock? Do you have any spare lying around? If you are in Auckland I can just come and pickup

Hard to say, Jafarican! I have one laying around, but I don't want to part with it, because it'll be the last one ever from the old design, unless I compromise my principals and make some more :-/

I am indeed in Auckland, but not in a very convenient place.

Little bump as I am interested in one of these little feckers as well, any info on the ETA of your latest batch?

Are you aware that since I produced this, Jean came out with a similar powersupply-less board with a lower price than his fully-featured board? I'd recommend buying that if it's still available. I can't devote any time to this soon, sadly. Too much else going on. I do want to resurrect BrickEMS as an operation, though, at some point.
