Planning a DIY FreeEMS Build? Post Your Plan!

Post by Fred »

That's right, it's strongly recommended that if you're planning to assemble some home brew hardware that you post a detailed parts and circuit plan for review by your peers and the developers who know what's going to work and what isn't.

If you don't do this, you could be doomed to fail! I don't want you to fail, I want you to succeed! :-)

The reasons that this is more or less essential are that some of the circuit designs and pin outs are volatile and that many of the schematics that you might be copying are/might be fatally flawed.

So please, post a thread, tell us what you're trying to run, how you're planning to run it, which circuits you're planning to build, which parts you're planning to use to build them, and we'll take it from there! This approach has worked very well for both Sim and Peter, and I was personally involved with the other four running DIY builds, so they had close guidance too.
