After I received my TA board I looked for board to board connectors like what TA used to use with Jared's board...
I found the manufacturer for the 2x25 pin connectors that TA uses, and they offer free samples with free overnight delivery to the USA!
samtec.com is their website and the part # is SSW-125-03-G-D

Re: Board to Board connectors
For the record, some of these could be useful for experimentation purposes in order to leave more room to connect probes etc:
SSW-125-04-G-D
the 04 specifies a 14.83mm lead instead of the 10mm one that the TA comes with.

Re: Board to Board connectors
Actually, DeuceEFI, it seems to me that the correct part number is really SSQ-125-03-G-D with SSQ-125-04-G-D being it's longer legged cousin. The difference is in flat contacts vs square ones, and the TA I have definitely has square ones. Probably both will work OK.

Re: Board to Board connectors
Heh, I just spent $20 getting four of these connectors.
I bought two each of:
SSQ-125-03-G-D
SSQ-125-04-G-D
$12 is about what what I paid for the two single (female) sided
connectors that I bought locally for my initial card.
I couldn't get the sample order part of their website to work for
me, however I don't feel bad about paying for some sweet
connectors that I couldn't find locally.
I'm thinking that the longer connectors will work best on what I
have. The PS and its heatsink is fairly tall.
Maybe the two short connectors will be good for a third "crazy
shit" board.

<@TekniQue> but in the end, it's code that makes a computer useful

Re: Board to Board connectors
I don't know if the quality of these is that great or not, but they're certainly well priced:

Thanks Harry!
Additionally, these guys do exact equivalents, presumably at lower prices, to the stuff listed above:
http://www.mlelectronic.com/
Crossover parts:
TA: SSHQ-125-D-08-G-LF
Longer: SSHQ-125-D-10-G-LF
