To run "hotel hyundai" as is, assuming I lend a CPU card with it, you need the following:

• 2 x 50 pin DIL sockets
• 1 x XOR logic chip (4 channels)
• 1 x LDO 5v regulator with 500mA Minimum
• 1 x 10uF tant or electro
• 1 x 22uF tant or electro
• several 0.1uF ceramics
• several 1.6k 1/4w resistors 1% tolerance
• several 1k 1/4w resistors 1% tolerance
• several 330ohm 1/4w resistors 1% tolerance
• 1 x map sensor

And do this with it:

• power supply construction is pretty obvious, generate clean 5v from raw power and supply to TA card via fly lead
• leave the DIL 50 poewr and ground leads disconnected to avoid loops
• connect T0 to one output channel of the XOR via a 1.6k resistor
• connect the input of the same XOR channel to a the hall input wire from the dizzy
• connect a 1k resistor from that same input to 5v
• configure that XOR to be inverting, 5v on input = 0v on output and vice versa
• connect T2 to one input channel of the XOR via a 1.6k resistor
• connect the output of the same XOR channel to a 330ohm resistor, and off to the ignitor
• configure that XOR to be non inverting, 5v on cpu = 5v on output
• filter and condition the map sensor and power for it

This car needs to stay on the road with FreeEMS wired in, somehow.

To run a 4g63 with wasted spark and sequential you would need the same, but with T1 configured like T0 and T3 configured like T2, and 4 logic fets for fuel channels with a 1.6k resistor each to the cpu on T4-7 and a logic fet on A7 with a 1.6k resistor for the fuel pump relay(s). You'd also need all the analogue filtering stuff. for temps and tps and so on.

Ditto for a mazda with opto or hall CAS and ext ignitor setup.

Ditto with COP/CNP and semi sequential / batch/bank cept more XOR channels and less fets.

this is all for high Z of course, for low z, buy a board from jean too.

Someone should build the above in a matchbox sized case with smd fets, it would be epic.

mazda includes mx5/miata btw.
