With those cheap headers you have to pay attention while soldering, they usually can't stand the temperature very well.
When soldering those cheap headers on to a PCB I would suggest to connect the TA board to it while soldering to prevent the contacts from moving if you melt the plastic while soldering.
Those headers are quite generic and you can build such a double row 40 pin header from multiple single row headers as well.
I always use these kind of cheap headers and never had a problem with them

2*25, as cheap as it gets, certainly compared with the $10~$12 dollar mentioned earlier.. the down side is the waiting part. My experience is that 1 to 2 weeks shipping time is normal. When you plan ahead this is usually not a problem as I won't start the project anytime sooner
