When building your DIY FreeEMS solution, please, once you've got it running and awesome, put it in a metal box! Or keep your partner, her hand bag, and her pink iPhone well away from it :-)

Was going to ask. For the Ignitors what can you do to shield them and the ecu to help keep out noise.

That, as explained in IRC, is about wiring connections and routing, primarily. Not shielding. This is about shielding due to the noise source being a cell phone in a hand bag in the passenger side floor right next to the CPU LOL.
