14point7 SLC DIY2 question

Post by AiToR51 »

I mailed Alan a few months ago asking about this product but had no answer. Now I really need to buy a WB O2 sensor for a car I'm rebuilding so I open this topic because probably another person has the answer and can help me to decide buying this product or search for another one.

I like the SLC DIY2 becasue it can log a lot of devices, so could be good for me for avoid a lot of gauges. The problem is that 14point7 only provides us with Winlog software + proprietary DLL.

I'd like to be able of logging in linux (with a raspberry pi for example), or even with an Arduino interfacing over USB. So I could program my own logic monitoring all sensors interfaced with SLC DIY2 and make my own gauge/alarms, etc.

Sorry I get alot of emails, some things slip through the crack.

I can send you the source code for the winlog DLL so you can see the data format. I have no idea about drivers for linux so I will not be able to provide a driver for linux.
