I do have to point out, though, that not replying at this point was a poor decision:

Hi,
Sorry I am not following what is happening. Did you order another unit from me?
At the current time in that specific conversation I wasn't bothered anymore to send a response since the email is real clear at that point in my eyes.
It's very clear that he hadn't noticed/seen that detail, so no matter how crystal clear it seemed in the LONG emails you sent (that I didn't bother reading in full), when he says "did you order another" you have to understand that:
  • He didn't see that you had
  • He emailed you back, so likely won't re-read your other emails without prompting
  • The ball is in your court after a reply
  • If you don't reply you don't get his attention in order to have that info absorbed
  • The process stalls
How hard would it be to merely snap straight back with "I already answered that in the last email, and made it clear in an earlier one, too" or even "Please re read the last email" or anything of the sort. Note, full stop, not question mark. Replying to this post will just annoy me, this is an irrefutable fact-of-life point that I'm making, I'm not interested in having a discussion about it.

Fred.

I've sent you my details as we speak.
As said in the e-mail: I -really- appreciate this gesture.

Fred, I can only say that you are right on all points. Lesson(s) learned.
