If you buy the sensor from a GOLF GTI you still need a wideband controller....

Check alan's web http://14point7.com/

You can get a spartan for $105, ready to interface with your aftermarket ECU..

Do i need a controller for jaguar or MS? Or do those just work with widebands if you tell them too? Not wanting a stand alone. Thanks.

Spartan is a good choice for standalone use, it is both the controller and the sensor in a single unit.

What do you mean "Not wanting a stand alone."?

To BPSX's credit, he sent me free of charge a complete unit, pre connected, pre calibrated, pre wired, All I had to do was hook up power and ground.

The result of this, the 3rd unit, is the same as the 2 previous units; with 11.78 AFR gas, the unit reads max rich 7.xx . I scope the signals and the unit electrically behaves all over the place like the other 2 units.

I did not want to beat a dead horse, so I did not post my result until someone (you) asked for it.
