I do some testing just now, 282 and 285 Scavenger s19, still same issue.
It is normal firmware metadata is blank?

This happen when Ardstim set rpm to 1100.
-crank sync never be green
-cam sync, last timestamp valid, last period valid blinking red green red green
-which input was last changing 0,5,2,1
-UId reason changing 2,1,2,1,2,1
-where in the input pattern sync was lost changing 6,3,10
-where the input pattern sync was record changing 4,10,11

I also see map tracing is working with Freeems, which is not in Libre. That make me eager.

Meta data and tracing would depend on matching firmware and EMStudio - chances are you don't have them in sync.

Only the hacked-by-Fred-and-Rob version of EMStudio is worth using, prior to that it was buggy as hell and divergent.

I can't even remember if it's backward compatible with the firmware you've been grabbing, or not.

Crank sync never green is normal for this decoder, it doesn't produce crank sync, it skips it. Some decoders do both, others only do crank, others like this only do cam.

Not sure about the precision/correctness of 4/2 on ardustim. If you link me the data I could compare with my notes and let you know. JimStim is or was definitely wrong though, as is MS firmware which was designed against it. Fail.

Also not sure on polarity vs reality for the ardustim vs the CAS. This absolutely matters - you will not get sync with wrong signal polarity, ever.

Please point me where to get those data.

I assume, Freeems and Libre use same style of decoder writing (I see your copyright there). FIY I got my engine start with Libre few days ago. It also sync with Ardustim.

Today I load Fred Hotel firmware, for my testing. Ardustim is set to 4clinder dizzy and it sync.
Righ now, I really lost my keen. :lol2:

Got it sync with Scavanger firmware! I change CAS with another, and got it sync even cas is turning with finger.

So, 4/2 slot type (currently I using at car) and 4/2 opto is different angle?
I see it running batch ignition/injection. How to make it run sequence injection?

Congratulations! Yes, the opto ones are what the code was developed against, and I think it's possible that the hall ones have different numbers, different state transitions, and even the ability to mis-assemble them and end up with something different, but it's been a while since I looked.

Need your entry in this thread:

And, no need to move this thread any further, though I will change the title for you if you tell me all the details of the car so I don't have to go searching :-)

Just put 1994 Proton Wira. I think it's sound better. :D

Meanwhile, Movement Control Order extended to another 2 weeks. I looking at the code, and do some edit (Scavenger config) for getting sequence injection/batch ignition.

And the result:-

Few question:

1) What is AN AF Table is?
2) Is it ok TPS close is at !6% opening in Emstudio?

Thread updated :-)

AN = Alpha N
AF = Air Fuel (I think, it's been a while)
TPS = you can configure upper and lower bounds for it - maybe using EMStudio, but not sure if the version you have, or not. Then it'll read correctly and log usefully

If you're turbocharging your engine you probably won't need/want AN AF - it was never fully developed though I have driven a few cars on that code. Speed density is best in most cases.

Post here, too: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2174

Let me fully understand how Freeems work. And yet to come, Kia Sportage (60-2/ 1cam) or Rover V8 3.9cc (8slot distributor) or maybe my friend drag car (4g63T targed boost 1.8bar). Hard to me decide. :D

***My friend 4g63T is fully loaded, currently running with MS2, Mapdaddy, and JB peak and hold.
