The Official Who's Next Discussion Thread!

Post by Fred »

I thought I'd kick this off as a social thing, and because I had a great skype call with some people who might just be the next people to run an engine, earlier today.

So, who's staring down the barrel of a runner?

That I know of:
  • Sean with his R1, currently running piggy back, but close to running for real.
  • Jeff with his Hilux, needs to sort out his transmission situation, though.
  • Presto's Lev8n, but that'll never happen now that he's working 12hrs/7 days for th' man
  • Daniel's twin turbo V8 Supra, but he melted it on ms1
  • Me with a SECRETSQUIRREL around the corner, though time may not permit
  • HOTCAT, but he's been quiet for months
  • John "I love MicroTech" Tramp with one of his 4AGEs, but he's been sleeping too
  • Craig with his B2200, but Puma/Marcos/Preston has fucked him :-(
  • Dan with who knows what in Oztralia, but he also does long hours
  • Mystery men on skype earlier, could be within weeks if they're good
  • Andy with the stang? Requires a decoder, not hard, but I'm busy...
Who do I put my money on? Hard to say! Maybe the mystery men! Who knows :-)

Discuss!

What's the pattern for it?

Maybe, but I reckon between tuning his S10 and modifying/tuning his Deuce and working on Jag he's busy enough for the time being anyway :-)

Preston has been good to me!
Puma has been indifferent.
Marcos cannot be slurred, he made a board, an imperfect one but still a massive achievement.

My life has fucked me. lol.
Very unhappy and have constant pain in my chest.
I may be dead of a stroke before I finish the B2200.
Though I will soon have a 100m2 barn to put it in and work on it.
Which is a mixed blessing, 450k mortgage but a place to work on ute/live.
But I won't have to GO TO WORK to work on it, so that should help, it's supposed to be a relaxing hobby/interest.
True stories. hahahaha!
