Neil's '97 LR D1 3.9 V8 (#42)

Vehicle thread here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2835

(not the first start as the first start took me completely by surprise)

Freeems is just doing fuel in this case. The ignition is provided by the Ford Edis unit running at the default 10 BTDC. The next step will be to control advance as well.

Congratulations, Neil! :-D Welcome to the "cool club" as the young Californian calls it. Most deservedly, too. XXOO

JUST like Rob's R33, we were intending to check the timing, forgot to unplug the injector sub loom, and were confused/surprised when it burst straight into life :-D

PS, Jealous and bitter about you getting 42. I snoozed, I lost. Couldn't have been awarded to a nicer guy. Cheers!

Those are some "fine, quality, automotive connectors" indeed! Congratulations!

What a great way to start the day over here in the States. Keep going!

We call it a bread board so it kind of makes sense. ;-)

Apologies for needing to be nagged to add this to the index thread! Also updated the country thread while I was at it: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2174&p=44151#p44151

Congrats on being the first in that part of the Southern Hemisphere :-)
