Elith Racing's ER14 200? CBR600RR FSAE Engine (only) (30th)

Post by Fred »

Rumour has it that engine number 30 ran a few days ago in Europe... This may or not be the same exact clan of blonde haired blue eyed gentlemen that ran two previous engines on FreeEMS. I couldn't possibly comment, but I can tell you that it should be epic once again. Go them! :-D

EDIT: Title corrected.

A reply, just to capture the original topic, before I edit it to be correct.

I'd like to add to this that this was fairly short lived. The new team with almost no one from the previous team decided to drop it and use a local Swedish ECU called Nira. They totally failed to get to the event. Woops. Not sure what happened last year, or this year, but I've heard nothing, so I assume they're still using Nira and doing body control stuff separately.

Que sera sera. I actually cried when I found out we were being dropped. They had their reasons, though. I hope one day they return to the heritage Jonas Bromo created with his custom paddle shift pneumatic bike transmission control code, etc. One day, perhaps.
